This 300-year-old chapel and the very captivating history museum connected to it will amaze you. Moving through the museum will help you understand the development of the work of education of Marguerite Bourgeoys, founder of the city’s first school. From the little 1658 school to the many schools and educational missions that followed, this visit shows the far from ordinary life of a pioneer woman and her desire to make education accessible to all.

Through the crypt of the chapel, enter a remarkable archaeological site. In the footsteps of pilgrims
This guided visit lifts the veil on the tradition of pilgrimage to Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel. The route proposed begins in the chapel and continues in the crypt and in the archaeological site. At the end of the tour, the visitors are invited to travel through the Ultreïa exhibition, as well as through the other rooms in the museum with the help of a pilgrim’s notebook that they will receive.
